Q: How do I get my child services with the Jon Peterson Scholarship? Who does the money go to? How do I know my child is getting the services he/she needs?

          • A: As an approved Jon Peterson Scholarship provider, we are equipped to deliver the services outlined in your child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). Here’s how the process works:
        • ● Service Coordination: Once your child is enrolled in our program, we work closely with you and your child’s educational team to ensure that the services specified in the IEP are provided effectively. This might include tutoring, therapy, or specialized instruction, depending on your child’s unique needs.
Private School Collaboration: Our qualified staff can deliver the services directly at that school. This ensures that your child receives the necessary support in their current learning environment.
Funding Allocation: The Jon Peterson Scholarship funds are allocated specifically for the services detailed in your child’s IEP. The scholarship funds are directed to us, the service providers, to cover the costs associated with delivering these specialized services. For complete transparency, you have access to view each invoice and understand exactly how our services are billed.

Q: Who does the money go to?
A: The Jon Peterson Scholarship funds are paid directly to the approved service
providers, like us, who are responsible for delivering the educational services
outlined in your child’s IEP. This means that the scholarship money is used to cover
the cost of these essential services, ensuring that they are provided without
               additional financial burden to you.

Q: How do I know my child is getting the services he/she needs?

A: To ensure your child receives the services they need, we adhere to the
       following practices:

Regular Communication: We maintain ongoing communication with you and your child’s educational team to monitor progress and address any concerns. This collaboration helps ensure that the services are meeting your child’s needs effectively.
Progress Monitoring: We regularly assess and document your child’s progress to ensure that the services provided are making a positive impact. This data is shared with you to keep you informed about your child’s development and the effectiveness of the services.
Feedback Mechanism: We encourage feedback from you and your child’s teachers to make any necessary adjustments to the services. This helps us tailor our approach to better suit your child’s evolving needs. By following these steps, we ensure that the Jon Peterson Scholarship funds are used effectively and that your child receives the high-quality services required for their educational success.

Q: What is your process for matching staff with schools and students?
A: We utilize a matching process to connect qualified staff with schools and
students. We carefully consider the specific needs of each school and student,
taking into account any specialized requirements. In addition, we evaluate the
experience, qualifications, and preferences (i.e. driving distance) of our staff
members to ensure the best possible match. By considering the student’s,
school’s and staff member’s needs, we strive to create mutually beneficial
partnerships that lead to successful educational outcomes.
