Learning disabilities (including dyslexia) are
neurologically based differences that affect how individuals process, understand, and apply information. A comprehensive evaluation can identify underlying learning challenges, clarify your child's unique learning profile, and provide recommendations to support success at school, at home, and beyond. Our team provides thorough, evidence-based evaluations to help families better understand their child's strengths and learning needs.
Our Process May Include:
- Psychologist to administer the ADOS and other ASD-related assessments
- Speech-language pathologist to administer expressive, receptive, and/or pragmatic language assessments
- Occupational therapist to administer sensory assessments
- Information may also be gathered from classroom observation and parents, caregivers, and/or teachers
- Referrals to local resources such as county board of developmental disabilities, Ohio school-based educational scholarships, and/or college student services offices
